Christmas Celebration in Yuzu Restaurant The Garden

Christmas is always my dream, the first came to my mind is romantic light dinner, snow man, Christmas tree and Santa Claus. I was so enjoyed my early Christmas celebration with all my good friends. They are my old schoolmates and it was so good to see them again. Most of them are married with children. Me? Well, I am still single, enjoy being single at the moment.

We had a great fun and nice dinner in Yuzu restaurant where it located in The Garden, Malaysia. It was my first time having the dinner there but I can tell you that the foods are really delicious. Each of us has ordered different set of dinner and I picked the seafood set after all. The size serving is still good for me, if you have a big appetite like my friend do, I suggest you can try add on the side dishes such as Chawan Mushi, Sushi, Agedashi Tofu, Sashimi, and their signature fresh imported fish from Kyushu Island and Hokkaido, Japan. Attended My Childhood Friend's Wedding Luncheon

Big reunion with my childhood friends after 20 years, they were my schoolmate and classmate from a Chinese Primary School - Confucians. Congratulations to Yap Sook Wei! Our assistance class leader in 6M class. She finally gets her happy ending as she gets married to a lovely guy. We feel happy for her too as she found her happiness afterwards. The wedding lunch was held on 29th November 2015. The starting time is 12 PM, I was thought I already late as I reached there at around 12.20 PM and I saw everybody seated the same table with me has all arrived. Eventually, I realised that there is still have many people couldn't make it on time and we had waited till 13 PM plus. However, it wasn't bored at all. We'd enjoyed ourselves to chit chat with each others and take pictures.

Father's day is observed on the every third Sunday of June. The day is to celebration honors all fathers, grandfathers, great grandfathers, and father figures for their contribution. With Father's day less than a month away, now probably is the best time to start thinking about your gift idea. Just like my dad, I always get him some cash or special home-made cake for him. My dad is a business man and he doesn't like traveling, as he thinks every places are the same but I guess he is afraid of taking flight. This time I'll get a new smartphone for him. His phone are always changing after a year as the need for his work. Now he learned to play online games, using online platform to send message such as Whatsapp and Wechat. He is using the model of Samsung Galaxy S4, and now I'm going to get him the latest version.

Mid Autumn festival is just around the corner. This is a quite important day to all Chinese cultural. They will get this chance to celebrate the festival with family and friends. BBQ and enjoy to look at the big round moon at this day.

Mooncake is popular at this moment and has various types of flavors available in the market. Currently the best selling mooncake would be the durian taste and hazelnut chocolate mooncake. You will see everywhere is selling all these flavors.There is another new taste which is containing birdnest and custard. I haven't try this out yet, as I not sure what kind of birdnest they put it on.

大年初一的禁忌

很多人都会知道，在大年初一时除了跟家人和朋友拜年之外，我们都要说好话，不争执，不发脾气，不骂人等等。还有什么是必须要禁忌做的呢？以下是我最近在网站找到的，大年初一的禁忌，有什么是不能在初一做的呢？那我们一起来看看吧！

1，已出嫁的女儿不可以回娘家：过年的第一天如果嫁出去的女儿回娘家，意指着会把娘家吃穷，因此只能在初二或者初三回娘家，但是其中的含意是嫁去的女儿已经是别人家的媳妇了，过年婆家一定有很多人来拜年，媳妇要帮忙奉茶服侍，因此初一不可以回娘家。

2，早餐忌吃稀饭、荤食及药品：过去的传统穷人家才吃稀饭，所以在年初一的上午一定要吃乾饭，表示家里整年度都会很富有，而年初一的早上叫做万神盛会，表示所有的神出来拜年，因此为表尊敬首先不要吃荤，要吃素，另外除了重病不得不吃之外，一般的补品补药初一最好不要吃。

3，忌叫他人姓名催人起床：年初一的上午不要叫人姓名催人起床，这样表示对方整年度都要人催促做事情。

4，忌跟还在睡觉的人拜年：年初一时对方还在睡梦中不要跟对方拜年，等对方起床再拜年，因为这样会让对方一整年都在病床中。

5，忌吃药。说是“初一吃药整一年，而且啥病也治不好”，所以再重的病人初一也不吃药。

6，禁忌动刀子和剪子。说是“初一动了刀和剪，口舌是非全难免”。

7，忌动针钱。说是“初一动了针钱，挑了龙筋长(生下的小孩，眼睛如同针眼一样小)针眼”。

8，忌斧子劈木柴。说是“初一斧子劈开柴(财)，劈开再也回不来”。

9，忌借钱。说是“初一借了别人的钱，一年四季靠外援；初一借给别人钱，财产外流整一年”。

11，忌打家具(盘、碗、酒具等易碎物品)，认为打碎家具，一年四季不吉利。不过在当今社会，当孩子们由于不慎打碎了家具也不要紧，只要大人们赶快说上一句：“岁(碎)来(了)好，岁来好，岁岁平安”，也就化凶为吉了。

12，白天不可午睡：过年期间白天睡午觉，表示整年度都会很懒惰，其中的含意是因为过年期间有很多客人到家里拜年，如果睡午觉的话对人很失礼。

13，忌倒污水、垃圾、扫地：过年期间不要从事洒扫的工作，因为这样容易把家中的财气扫掉。

14，忌被他人自口袋掏取物件：过年期间不要让人从自己口袋掏东西，这样表示整年度钱财都会被人家掏走。

15，忌向人讨债：过年期间不管是被要债或者是跟人家要债的人在一整年间都会很倒楣，因此忌讳向人讨债。

16，忌洗衣：水有水神，水神的生日在初一初二，因此这两天不要洗衣服。

17，此外，还忌小孩说脏话、年轻人打架斗殴、家里人抬杠伴嘴，凡是遇上这种事，亲朋友、街房邻居都会来劝说制止。

Friend's Birthday Celebration @ Blue Dragon (Thai Foods Cafe)

One of my friends, Fong Yuen celebrated her birthday on Blue Dragon Cafe in Taman Cheras, Pandan Indah. This is also my first time being there, but if you ask me how the food taste, I would say the foods are still ok only, I'm not so impressed with the foods there because I ordered one main dish and one ice lemon tea only. My great point is I was so glad to meet some of the new friends. Most of the friends are introduced by my ex-schoolmate and some of them are friends of friends. So our group of friends are becoming bigger now.

冬至快乐

今天，是中国人的冬至，一個全年日最短，夜最长的一日。这天，依照传统，家家户户都會各自团聚在一起过节。

其实，古罗马人也在差不多的日子(12月25日)，一家人走在一起纪念冬至，其意义也是一樣：黑暗已深，光明溫暖正開始降临。

直至四世紀中叶(主后336年)，從罗马城开始，冬至被无厘头地改成记念耶穌降生的节庆（其实12月25日並沒有什么历史根据作为耶穌的生日），或許罗马教會的本意，是想藉冬至這天，去类比耶穌降生的意义：黑暗已深，光明溫暖（耶穌是世上的光）已開始降临。

原來，不管是中国的冬至，抑或是西方的圣诞，其节日意义都在带出彼此共融，一起积极地期盼。

在此，祝愿大家冬至快乐。

属鼠：

Prepare for Friend's Wedding Dinner

14th November 2010 - The day is one of my best friend's wedding day. (Henry and Sharon) So I was selected to be my friend's bridesmaid and everyone is wearing pink dress as the role of bridesmaid (Cantonese is Ji Mui).

In the early morning, we need to reached the bride's house at 7 a.m to prepare the marriage games for bridegroom's friends, so called "brothers". There is some interesting game such as Yoga poses, drink 4 types of juices, glue a love shape by red bean, sing a love song and more.

In the same day we had a wedding dinner at 6 a.m. I am actually no time to get a rest after back from the bridegroom's house where it located in Kajang, Saujana Villa and it took about one hour to reach my home. So I have only 2 hours for me to take a bath, make-up, set hair and wear my dinner dress. And yes, the picture is when I was preparing to go for wedding dinner (after make up look).
