Father's day is observed on the every third Sunday of June. The day is to celebration honors all fathers, grandfathers, great grandfathers, and father figures for their contribution. With Father's day less than a month away, now probably is the best time to start thinking about your gift idea. What is the best gift for Father's Day? Is your dad a tech junkie? Is he tool mad?
Just like my dad, I always get him some cash or special home-made cake for him. My dad is a business man and he doesn't like traveling, as he thinks every places are the same but I guess he is afraid of taking flight. This time I'll get a new smartphone for him. His phone are always changing after a year as the need for his work. Now he learned to play online games, using online platform to send message such as Whatsapp and Wechat. He is using the model of Samsung Galaxy S4, and now I'm going to get him the latest version.
If your dad is non-tech savvy users, there's also the simple fact that less tech-savvy people are, by their nature, less interested in technology. This means thing like games, fancy apps, or email with push notifications just don't matter to them. While it's great that the iPhone is easy to use, the fact that it has 900,000 apps means nothing to most people.
Getting a non-tech savvy person into a smartphone isn't an easy task. While It's partially about finding a good fit for them on a usability level, it's also just about figuring out which features really matter to your dad. While you have a ton of options out there. I'll stick to the three options here: Android, iPhone, and Windows Phone
Sony Smartwatch
If you want to give him something he'll definitely use, the Sony Smartwatch is currently on offer at Amazon ($188.00). The intuitive, interactive Smartwatch 3 feeds the user personalised information on the move, keeping you updated with notifications direct from your smartphone.
